My application was completed in november, but my LORs were lost several times and didn't arrive at most schools until approx Jan.7th....
My AA is 22, my GPA ~ 3.5 (science GPA ~3.4)
I still haven't heard anything from:
1)Tufts
2)Upenn
3)Uconn
4)Maryland
5)NYU
6)BU
7)Temple
8)Harvard

How many weeks after my application was complete should I expect to hear from the adcom?

I'm a little uninformed.......will schools actually ignore an application until LOR's arrive. I would think that your stats are good enough to grant you an interview pending that your LOR's are on the way.

Well... your things are coming in a bit late but you have great stats.... you should not have a problem gaining admissions to at least a few of those schools.... Im sure youll be hearing from several of them soon....good luck....

i'm pretty sure adcoms will normally review an app only if the app is complete w/ everything including LOR. From your stats, you should definitely get in a school like NYU.

Actually, this isn't true at some schools. UCSF rejected both my LOR's because they didn't think it was "sciency" enough and 2 days later got an interview. In fact, I hand delivered the new LOR's on the day of my interview.

i went to the maryland interview w/o my LOR being there. have u called these schools to make sure your application was complete? other than your "LOR's do they have your other stuff? another option, to speed up the app process, is to have your school fax over your LOR's to the school's u applied to. follow up with teh school and tell them they'll be receiving their normal copies via aadsas or however u sent it. i sent it thru my school intead of aadsas and it was the smartest thing i did. but i had my lor's FAXED to maryland..so look into that option. hope this helps.

Don't worry, your stats are good enough to make it to at least one school. Tufts and NYU interview till very late in the cycle. For NYU, you will definitely get in without an interview. My friend wrote the DAT in first week of december, but she submited all the other application in September. She got accepted from NYU in the third week of December. I am assuming the DAT scores took 2 weeks to arrive, and she got the acceptance right away.
