I am starting to get super worried. My applications were mailed out on 9/16, and my GRE scores were sent on 11/18. I haven't heard back from any of the 6 schools I've applied, at all. No interviews, no rejections, and definitely no acceptances. A few of my friends applied to the same schools, after I did, and already had interviews and rejections. Should I apply to more schools? I know it's a waiting game but I feel like I should've heard something by now!🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

Did you receive any emails from the schools saying they received your apps? Or did you email any of them to check in on the status of your materials?

Yep! I received emails from 5/6 of the schools saying they received my application, and I checked in with 3 of the schools to see if they got my GRE scores. :/

I applied to 13 schools and only heard back from three so far. I'm from NY too so we probably applied to some of the same schools. I've been freaking out too bc it takes so long so I'm in the same boat! Or I also have a theory that some have been waiting for the academic update, but who even knows. o__O

Some schools do indeed wait until after academic update before they review and rank application. But some do not. It would be best to just contact each school and ask what their process is like, if you really need/want to know. And if you haven't gotten academic update done I would do so ASAP as that can be a major holdup at a few schools.

AH okay so I'm not the only one. I applied to LIU brooklyn, SBU, Colombia, Boston, MGH and UPITT. Did you apply to any of these? and which 3 did you hear back from? I'm constantly freaking out I wish I just had an answer from at least 1!!

Unfortunately my school takes weeks to make the grades available so I'm hoping that wont hold up the process even more :/

So my application got mailed the day before yours (or probably in the same shipment) and my gre scores were in before that and all I can say is that every school is different. I sent in a few later applications and the first school I heard from (NYMC) was the last one I applied to. I also applied to LIU brooklyn and Pitt, and I just heard from Pitt that I got in this past wednesday, so I wouldn't worry! Every school is different, and every application is different so just because you haven't heard yet doesn't mean it's bad news. Stay strong! It's a long process but you'll get there.

BU's application was not due until Dec 15th so it is not likely you will hear from them for some time. MGH says on their website they would be sending interview invites between mid December and mid January.

Out of those I applied to Stony and LIU and those were not any of the three I heard from -__- I heard from NYMC, NYIT and MCPHS. Two rejects and a wait list.

Like I said, I would contact each school and ask them if this is an issue for them. And if it is, explain the situation and they should be willing to work with you.
