  1. Fellow [Any Field]
Hi everybody 🙂
I'm looking for some information for my fiancé (who is at work now and we're gaining info together 🙂). I already posted this message in other section of this forum but now I found this one and believe it's a much better place for asking such questions.

Well, he's a general practitioner in Tunisia. He graduated from a University in Tunis, Medical Faculty. He's been to Germany for a student exchange so he speaks good German.

Now he's interested in doing his specialization in Germany and we can't find answers for some questions. Can you please help us?
1. Does he need to have any exam that confirms his proficiency in German? Or it's enough that somebody from a hospital (responsible for employing him) talks with him in German and states that his level is OK?
2. Can he do his specialization in a private clinic? Will it be recogonizable and validated in other countries? We found for example Helios Kliniken that seems to be very well know in Germany (a lot of branches!) and it cooperates with a privat medical university. In our countries only public university hospitals are able to have specialization "courses" that's why we're asking.

Thanks for your cooperation and help 🙂

PS. Do you have any information for above questions concerning Austria? Language is the same so I thought about it also 🙂
