I never got into magic the gathering. Played and collected pokemon and yugioh cards when I was younger though...

I think I saw a booth for this at the AMSA National Convention. But I think they severely limited themselves in terms of demographics. Also, one quality of a desirable med student is maturity and often people would think the reverse of a future doc playing with these...

Wow. I guess if it helps you I think that's great. But I mean being a twenty one year old holed up in a library 24-7 studying micro is nerdy enough, do you really need to turn that up a notch? Maybe they ought to sell Stormtrooper uniforms to wear while playing, and have versions of the game translated into Klingon. Might as well just shove yourself into a locker.
