The AAMC -- along with 18 other health professions -- is celebrating Health Professions Week, September 26-30, 2016.
Health Professions Week (HPW) is an exciting week-long event for college and high school students interested in learning more about careers in the health professions. HPW will include an online treasure hunt, on-campus events and two virtual fairs. It is a free online event for undergrads and advisors, as well as high school students and guidance counselors.
Each event during Health Professions Week provides students with interactive opportunities to explore health-related education programs and careers. Students will learn about 19 health professions, talk directly with current health care practitioners and find information about educational requirements for each career.
