Healthcare experiences abroad

Has anyone had a positive experience with healthcare abroad for more than a few days/weeks (I.e. a few months or close to a year)? If so, what program/organization did you go through? If you could private message me, I would really appreciate it.

I am taking a year off after graduation and want to spend some time preferably in Latin America working in a health care setting.
