Heard MCAT has more WTF questions which correspond to many WTF questions on Khan passages, true?

Lately, heard there are more WTF outlandish questions that are very similar to WTF questions on Khan Academy.

Khan Academy should be taken as seriously as SB now?

There seem to be more and more "where did that come" questions that are just plugged straight from Khan.

Which Khan section (s) is most beneficial if you are really short on time for retake .

last time i wrote i had a brutal C/P exam and ended up voiding my exam. it was almost entirely orgo and physics and the dificult physics stuff. and the single qs were like asking about the names of certain formulas and stuff

My question is:

Many people commented in past that Khan passages are sometime too detailed, too outlandish.

But the real MCAT will always have one section or two that has detailed/ outlandish calculation or micro-detailed terminology questions.

So ALL Khan questions need to be taken seriously, even the detailed, "it won't be on the exam" questions.

Agree or no ? Why yes, why not?

I spent months and months reading everything at Reddit and here at SDN about all sources. From I've gleaned, Khan is good for reviewing material from the ground up and form psychology and sociology passages. It is rare that anyone suggests their passages for the other areas. You are better off spending that time on the AAMC Q banks.

Learn everything in the AAMC content list. Stop playing to your strengths and focus on what you are weak on, which for most is Orgo and Physics. Forget 'high yield;' learn everything. Nothing will be WTF if you practice enough and get the material cold.

I couldn’t agree more! If you have enough time i don’t know when your exam is but learn everything lol, people focus of “high yield” and then get mad when they get passages about other “low yield” stuff. The people who write the books don’t make the test. Anything can come out so learning it all is the best bet. The next step after that is practice Section Banks to learn how to interpret data, which is the toughest part at first then it gets easier! YouTube for content you’re weak in are your best bet! Good luck!!!
