I have heard the adcoms like to see how a student performs under heavy credit loads, is this true? Does anyone have any knowledge on this subject matter, it would be much appreciated. Also while I am on the subject what is the most intense semester/quarter that any of you out there have submitted yourselfes to. Last semester I nearly died here is my schedual:

BIO 490 Cellular Biology 2.0 credits A
CHEM 352 Organic Chemistry II 4.0 credits B+ 🙁
PH 106 Applied Physics II 3.0 credits A
PH 106L Applied Physics II Lab 1.0 credits A
BIO 375 Genetics & Molecular Biology 4.0 credits A
BIO 311 Professional School Prep 1.0 credits A
BIO 211 General Biology II 4.0 credits A
REL 341 Church History 2.0 credits A
21.0 credits 3.886 GPA
Does anyone have any feedback on how adcoms will look at this?
Thank you

No offense, but are you seriously asking this question? How do you think theyll view it? Let me give you a hint.....youre doing a good thing, keep it up.

Obviously, if adcoms notice at all, heavy schedules will be better than light schedules... but is it goign to guarantee you an interview or in? of course not.

what's the point of asking this question? just apply and see what happens. Oh and get over yourself, that schedule's not "heavy".

I had better clarify my original post, because of course they are going to look at it as a positive thing. The question that I really want answered is, is it that big of a deal to the adcoms to take a ton of credits and do well. What I am getting at is, does anyone have any personal experience of an adcom specifically pointing out their course load and saying something like "wow, this is really impressive".

Ok, then what would be an example of a "heavy" schedual if I might ask.

In my mind? 25+ in a 10 week quarter. In response to your new question, I had a quarter where I took 2 classes... and one of them was a 2 unit seminar... and none of my interviewers brought this up... so either they don't comb through the transcripts or they just don't really care as long as you finish and have an ok GPA.

I had a couple of semesters of less than 12 credits and it never came up. But then again I only got accepted to one of the 11 schools I applied.

Most credits I've ever taken have been 18, and pulled a perfect GPA...it was tough though.
