I need your help. I am a DO student and I am registered to take the USMLE step 1 in 1 week. I took the UWORLD Self Assessments and scored 183 on the first one and 190 on the second one. Should I postpone my exam and keep studying (I am starting rotations in 2 weeks) or should I just cancel my exam? I have been studying for 2 months and I am bit burnt-out. I already took the COMLEX and do not know my score yet.
I was thinking about taking a NBME and making my decision after. If I get around 200, should I take the USMLE? (I know it is still a low score but it will allow me to apply to ACGME residencies that do not accept COMLEX)

I am shooting for IM residency and possibly a fellowship after

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

As a DO student, my plan was not to take USMLE unless I was sure I could get above average. I think having a score far below will just hurt yah more than anything.

I would either postpone or cancel for sure.

Best of luck
