Help! Amcas Errors!

Man!! I checked over my app. like 50 times and ended up with three errors:

1. Instead of a comma, there is a period in one of my lists
2. I spelled proselyting proselyiting
3. In my PS, I spelled been as ben

wow, can't believe I missed the "been" one. Craziness. Can someone tell me where I stand? Please look at my MDapp. page and tell me if I'll get in somewhere, somehow!!

Looking at your stat's and your errors, it seems like you wont get in anywhere.

I'm just kidding, you have great grades and a good MCAT score. I'm sure the adcom's at your schools wont take anything away for a few small mistakes.

I was used to calling it proselyting, but my Mission President in Philly called it proselytizing. I thought he was crazy.

LIGHTEN UP.

Unless you tried to pass of your mission as a "humanitarian endeavour" because I think that most adcoms are on to that. Sounds like you described it as proselyiting 🙂 so you'll be fine in that respect.

Why would you even use the word proselyting? Seems like you would come off as working too hard to sound smart with your words.

OP served an LDS mission. It's pretty important to distinguish this from many "Christian" or "Medical" missions. He spent almost all of his time and effort teaching people about the Book of Mormon, etc. <- Proselyting.

It's actually not that uncommon of a word among evangelicals and clergy.

Sounds familiar....I left out a word, in my opening sentence!!! >) I also misspelled "led" as "lead." Considering how long I worked on it, and how many people reviewed it and didn't catch those mistakes, I was a little distraught to find them only 5 hours after submission!

I also had a stupid error occur. The bullet points that I used in two of my activities turned into upside down question marks. I also forgot to put the last name of one of my activity contacts. Should I be worried about the adcom thinking that I am incompetent because of these errors? Should I be worried in general?
