Hello,

I am a junior doctor working here in the UK, and really want to do my post-graduate training in the USA in Neurosurgery.

I graduated medical school from Cambridge, and Oxford...with merits
Have done placements in Neurosurgery in the states at Mayo and in Texas.

The only dissapointment is my Step 1 score which was not amazing...however, i am trying hard to ace my Step 2

As an IMG what are my chances of getting into a residancy training programe?
Any tips or tricks would be very helpful!!

What did they think about you at Mayo and in Texas. The only way you'll now is to apply. Be sure to have letters of recommendation from those rotations. Apply far and wide.
