Hi guys -
I started this fabulous research assistant position July 1, 2010. I had already submitted my primary so I used it for all my secondaries. I asked my PI about writing me a LOR (I made a space for it on AMCAS but I haven't selected any schools to receive it yet) She agreed - but asked for a deadline -
mainly bc the lab isn't up and running 100% yet so she thinks if we can wait then she can say more concrete stuff in the LOR -
SO - what do I tell her? What is a "deadline" - is it school dependent? I already submitted all my secondaries and have 2 interviews - I have been placed on hold and will be reviewed again after all the remaining applicants have been reviewed - not sure what to tell her???
I said the sooner the better but she thinks we should wait a bit so she can write more concrete stuff -
Does anybody have any experience with this regarding deadlines? waiting? etc?
