Help: Ex Filled ACS allegation

I'm wondering if anyone can help with this..
It seems my ex has filled a complaint allegation with ACS (Administration for child services), I'm nervous about it (as my ex can falsely claim anything) and in the event they do conclude their investigation not in my favor and it goes on my record, how would this effect me for residency and would it show on background check? And i'm also wondering if this will be an issue for any specific specialities.
