Hey guys. I'm taking my step like in 9 days. So as of now, I have finished almost all of uworld, but have read explanations only for the questions i've gotten wrong. My overall average is at a 70%. I've also taken a two NBME - NBME12/226 (2 weeks ago) and NBME11/231 (1 week ago). I'm planning to take another NBME in 4-5 days. My goal is 240+
Do you guys think that I should spend time reading explanations to the questions I got right on UW too. (my original plan to was do that but am feeling pressed for time right now). I don't have time to do the entire bank but I would probably be able to do about half if I just push myself. Is it worth it? Should I read just the educational objectives?

Really confused!!!

I feel you can do the bank again if you want in 9 days! I think you have more than enough time if you arent going to be taking notes etc. Just read the explanations for some of the ones u get wrong or the questions you found particularly "tricky" in terms of how the question was worded and what they were actually asking. Thats what I am planning on doing.

I think if you really lock down these last few days you could probably even squeeze in another reading of FA which is what I have heard people doing their last week or so along with doing questions ( as many as you can)

you should be fine! just relax and do as much as you can with as much focus.

Hey pbnj003!

First off, thanks so much for your response. So I covered about 150 questions today and I'm actually going through my second read of FA right now (since I find that to be more important). I'm planning on taking another NBME in a few days and hoping to score close to my target score. I'm gonna be doing another read through FA in the last 3 or so days as well (just a quick skim to pick up concepts that I may have overlooked or things that i need one last glance at). I'm hoping to keep doing about 100-150qs a day. I'm not able to read everything with all the explanations because it takes me too long. So I just decided to read the learning objectives for each question. Do you think that's alright? Or am I just wasting my time?

no i think that should work! although beware i have yet to take my exam. But i am just speaking from what other students or friends have said to do.

also I have heard reading the last section in FA, the Rapid Review is majorly high yield esp the last 2-3 days. So maybe give that a read or even take it with you to exam center lol im not sure if u r allowed to take the ur fa with u or not.
