Brookline and Allston, is that what you're referring to? I stayed in Allston when I went for my interview and I took the T into the Back Bay, took me just a few blocks from the school and it was easy to walk to from there, took only about 5 or 10 minutes and I didn't even know my way around at that point.

no worries, you just get off Hynes T station and its so close. I ran to NECO in 5 minutes, wearing heels, while it was raining, in a suit, while shouting out "where is beacon street?" to random Bostonians on the street- thankfully they were all so nice and friendly 🙂

no most montrealers aren;t like that....they are crazier

If you're going to PCO, you absolutely need a car. You could probably survive without one first year, but when you start clinic second year, you will have to have your own transportation.

NECOers:

Does the T drop you off near the NECO clinic near BU?

Anyone who lives across the river, (Brooksomething, Ashton?) do you take the T into Back Bay??

optEXTREME:

The T does drop you off right near the NECO clinic. The clinic is actually on the way to Allston, you just take the B-line out. I'm a first year and I can tell you that I love living in Allston. It's really convenient. I know that a lot of first years live right next to the school, but you have to be willing to pay a bit more or have a roommate. I don't mind the commute in the morning at all.

I actually take the T into the Hynes Convention Center stop. Or I take the 57 Bus to Kenmore and walk. Either way, it takes me about 20 minutes to get to class.

Hope that helps!
