Anybody who knows Wash D.C. know how long it takes to get from Amtrak train station to George Washington SOM? My interview is tomorrow morning at 10:15am and I am trying to time my train correctly.

Thanks for the help

sorry... don't know the answer to your question. just wanted to wish you good luck!!!

Hey good luck buddy! its about 30 mins and ur there.. do well!!

Thanks! - I'm glad I posted - I was leaving myself only 20 minutes...I guess I'll take the earlier train to be safe.

It shouldn't take too long to get from Union Station to Foggy Bottom in the morning. Trains during rush hour run often. You can get an exact time frame by going to www.wmata.com (look under "plan your trip")

From Union Station take the Red Line (in the direction of Shady Grove) to Metro Center where you will switch to the Blue or Orange Line to Foggy Bottom. The Hospital and Med School are located right at the exit.

Good luck on your interview!

just be sure to leave enough time for mistakes. Unfortunately there isn't a great area at GW to just hang out if it's cold outside, as I suspect it might be. But you can just go into Ross Hall, sign in, and look around to kill time if you're early. There are places to sit around in the library.
