hi im appling to rads just got my step 2 ck and didnt do so great: 238.

my step1 was very very similar (<240).

how does this affect my chances? i dont have to release b4 interviews but will in order to rank/match.

applying to all tier 2 and abouth 70 tier 3 programs.

please weigh in.

Yea because there isn't a thread at the top titled "What are my chances?", where one would throw in questions regarding chances, and what not.

Go on 20 interviews and ull be fine

what are some of your other stats like clinical grades and research? I bet you're about to start getting interview offers rolling in. Those scores are nothing to be ashamed of.

Did you apply to anything you consider to be 'reach' programs? I'm wondering why you seem to have set a ceiling of tier 2 for yourself.
 
you'll be more than fine. i know of someone who had a similar step1 score, ended up getting a step2 in the 220s and matched at a great program (cleveland clinic/Mayo; won't say which one for anonymity's sake). and the rest of his app was average.
you probably dont need to be applying to that many programs...there's a good guide on auntminnie from a PD about the application process, check it out.
