The order we put are rotations in during 4th year which help or hinder how "attractive" we look for the residency programs. For those 4th years and above who have gone through this process before... what did you do? For eg, if one were interested in FM did you try to schedule this rotation as well as your other electives in the early half of the year, so that you were finished with them, had gotten the recommendations etc???

Advice needed, thanks in advance

I don't have an answer for you, but you could try checking the sticky at the top of the forum about rotation order. I believe there's links to a lot of other threads that have discussed this issue before. Good luck!

This thread has bugged be ever since it first appeared. "Rots" is NOT an abbreviation for "Rotations". NO ONE says that. Stop it.

  Way to bump the thread 4 days later so you have to look at it even longer before it disappears into the depths of SDN...

I think you should do the rotations (rots) of your field of choice early in the year so you can get LOR's. Good luck.
