So on p. 562, the mnemonic is Taco, Paco, Peco, Paco for the physiologic dead space equation. Can anyone explain the mnemonic? It might help me remember the equation!

On p. 332, what is this diamond/square/triangle mnemonic for MEN Syndromes? I have memorized these already without the mnemonic but just curious as I do not understand how these shapes help you remember the associations...

It is probably really simple. I do not see it at all though!! Haha.

lol these mnemonics are terrible. you dont need the shape mnemonics if you can remember the different syndroms. the taco paco thing is terrible as well. Taco =Vt Paco = Pac02 etc

The vertices of the shapes are supposed to represent the locations of the organs affected in the MEN syndromes (e.g. the 2 bottom corners of the square represent your 2 adrenals for pheo, while the top 2 represent your parathyroids, and the top point of the diamond is your pituitary). Honestly, like you I just memorized them without the mnemonic so it's kind of useless.
