help!! Jan/Feb interviews sent out already? anxious..

Hello all

I'm a canadian, I've applied in late July,and I thought my stats werent' too bad : (23AA 19PA 3.9GPA 100 shadowing hrs ) to earn interviews

but, out of 17 schools I've applied: I have only received 3 interview offers, along with 2 rejections from UPENN and UCSF.

now I'm getting really worried because I'm not hearing back from the rest of schools including my top choice Boston U.
Did most schools already send Jan/Feb interview offers? Do you think I have some chance of getting more interviews next year? Is having interviews in march and later really that bad? I'm getting desperate help!!

Its definitely because your stats are too low!😴

But seriously, maybe its other stuff in your app thats lacking like LOR's, PS, etc. Also 3 interviews is nothing to complain about, but given your "not too bad stats" yea you should have more I guess.

Calm down, if your application was completed late, then yes it would explain why some schools haven't responded to you. Your "so-so" stats might be hurting you a little but who knows what it could be, your PS, your EC, your LORs, you're Canadian? (kidding). The point is you can only play the waiting game like everyone else, so don't worry too much.

Message to all Canadians: regardless of stats, you will not receive the same consideration as Americans. If you want me to explain why, I will.. 3 interviews is an ample amount for a Canadian applicant. Be happy.

This is not true if you are applying to private and/or international-friendly schools.

i had interviews with case, buffalo, and las vegas. but I still don't hear anything from my top choice schools like boston and nyu which are supposed to be international friendly..
