Hi,
So something very unfortunate happened to me this month: My friend from home came to visit and we went out and while we were coming back in, they basically took someone else's door dash order. The person that ordered that door-dash reported it and got the school involved. The school stated that since I was housing the person they were my responsibility. Now I have met with the conduct violation officer at Rutgers undergrad and they have filed me for restitution (paying the person back) and a reprimand (by definition: A reprimand formally indicates to a student that their behavior is unacceptable and that continuing that behavior shall warrant additional, more serious consequences.). I pleaded with the officer to try to get the reprimand off and she stated that this is not on my transcript but the school will provide the dental schools information if they ask for my file. Should I update my application and explain myself or only call schools and explain what happened that explicitly state that they need to know everything such as RDSM. Please I need help let me know what i should do ASAP. I have completed 6 interviews and am waiting on 6 more.

Basically you received a written warning, and it's documented with your student conduct office.

We don't have the full story, so I don't understand how you didn't notice your friend took a doordash order that wasn't their own. You are responsible for your guest, so you didn't wonder, "hey, where'd you order this?"

You're going to have to let the process go to its proper conclusion, including you fulfilling any punishment against you. That said, work with your student conduct office to craft an update to any school that extends you an offer later in December (or afterwards). They WILL ask for a dean's letter or some statement of your student conduct standing as a condition of enrollment.

Now, the real question: should you let the interviewed schools know now? I have to think about that.

Ridiculous behavior by Rutgers, in my opinion. Give me a break -- someone else does something wrong and they want to punish you for it? A simple $20 fixes this situation. Pay for the food and be done with it... These educational systems sometimes I swear

Even more ridiculous that someone felt the need to get the school involved in the first place

Maybe it was a special order made with love by this guy…

I prolly would have notified the school over that too.
