(HELP) LOI for Colorado

Hi,
I was wondering if anybody has had any experience/success writing a letter of interest to University of Colorado. Specifically if they are even receptive to these letters. I submitted my application in June, and finished paying in July. This is one of the my first choices and I wanted to increase my chances for an interview. Any help would be appreciated! Honestly I do not feel like LOIs really do anything. You can send one if it makes you feel better but wouldn’t get hopes too high based on that.
