I got off a WL, and got 2 additional A’s very recently. So, I’m trying to determine the best school to choose from.

LECOM-Bradenton, ATSU-KCOM, and DMU

DMU: best complex scores in the country, great match list, very well established, and the school is phenomenal.

ATSU-KCOM: original DO school, good match list, and I’ll have a chance to do rotations in my home city.

LECOM: cheap

DMU or KCOM. Des Moines is a city, so that is a plus if it is important to you. I don't know how much of a chance you'd have to do rotations at home at KCOM for your specific circumstance.

From what I’ve heard about how kcom’s rotations work. Is you do the entire 2 years at your given rotation site. And they do it based on a lottery system. And people usually rank my city lower than other cities in their list. So I’d imagine I’d have a pretty good shot at getting to do them at home!

Yeah you can't go wrong really with either. KCOM's main downside is getting to and living in Kirksville as well as a bit more emphasis on OMM. Being back at home for 2 years though is a great perk.

The kirksville part is soo true. Its so small, but on the plus side rent there is like $500-600 a month for a 1 bedroom. I think Des Moines is closer to $900-1000.

THE heavy OMM emphasis at kcom also sucks. They probably do twice as much as DMU.
