Sorry if this is a non-standard use of the forums; I just figured I'd tap into the wealth of resources here as I'm really clueless.

I'm a patient going into my orthodontist tomorrow to get braces done a second time around, at the urging of my dentist. I had my dentist send my orthodontist an email describing what he wanted to be done with my teeth, and he forwarded me a copy:

"Dear [Orthodontist],

I received an e-mail from [kolumbia] requesting that I send you a note regarding his orthodontic re-treatment.

Specifically, teeth 6, 20, and 29 need rotational corrections! In addition, I would like to see that Maximum Intercuspation is coincident with a seated condylar position without an anterior or lateral slide. I know is very difficult to acheive strictly from an orthodontic standpoint. I usually like to check the patient before debanding...I usually can accomplish this with an occlusal adjustment that finalizes the occlusal prior to debanding!

I will increase the frequency of recall appointments for [kolumbia] 1 extra time per year; a 4 month frequency to maintain tissue health and avoid decalcification and caries.

If you have any question, please do not hesitate to call!

Thanks, [Dentist]"

I'm a bit nervous heading in tomorrow, as I really want a good job to be done, so can anybody tell me what this means? I really, really appreciate it!

*orthodontist glances at email, hits delete button*

I hope you paid the dentist for writing this. You probably pestered this person into writing a useless e-mail.

To many words and, agree, useless. He wants orthodontist to do a good job, meaning to make sure all your teeth touch when they suppose to and have proper position(rotation)
