Hi guys,

So I'm about to finish my freshman year and planining to take summer semester. However, I can't choose between two things. I'll list few important facts about me to spare you from the long paragraphs and give me your opinion.

-I'm international student.
-I'm in scholarship that requires me to either be full time student in US, or go back home for vacation.
-Got C in Calculus I.

The problem: I'm planing to take summer semester to take Bio I (I didn't take it in the fall) However, as I stated above, I need to be full time student, so which schedule to choose?

Schedule 1: Bio I, Some U-core course, and take any course from sophomore year such as physcis.

Schedule 2: Bio I, Some U-core course, and re-take Calculus I.

I don't know which schedule to choose. I don't have to worry about tuition because it's covered, but I don't want to combine both schedules because its going to be short semester.

What would you do?

I wouldn't retake Calculus. I'd turm my focus to doing spectacular in your core science classes. One C in math can be overlooked by a spectacular core science record.

Thats what I thought from the moment I saw that C. I knew it will be a waste of time to re-take calc, but with my weird circumstances, it made me question if it's still not worth it to retake.
