Hello, I recently joined this web site.
I am majoring pre-pharmacy and biochemistry(major starts next semester).
The problem is my GPA was horrible. For the first semester, I didn't have any goal. Also, I couldn't adopt the university life, and I was lost. My first grade of semester were so so so bad. (had D and F). After the shock, I try to make that up through summer semester and not I have 2.6 GPA. For sure, I will bring that up the rest of semester. However, I really feel bad about my preveous grades.'What if that affect?' I am trying to do anything I can do (volunteer at hospital pharmacy).
Are there any students who had similar experience with me amomg the admitted student?
How did you make that up? (i.e P.C.A.T)
Do you think which one is better between keeping biochemistry major OR changing into easy major(so I can get better GPA)?
This semester, I know what I want to be.
I hope it's not too late.
p.s I am planing to apply pharmacy school 2009 Fall.
Thank you!

Since last semester I've gotten it together a lot more and am looking forward to my next semesters in college. Like you I am going to be doing 2 summers worth of classes as well as full time semesters. That's to get not only caught up to where I need to be but also to expedite the bringing up of my GPA.
