I’m doing Biochemistry these days and I want to know whether to study Genetics in Biocehmistry section or not? Is it Important or not?

Genetic Diagnosis and Gene Therapy

I have done the following:

Nucleic Acid Structure and Organization

Transcription and RNA Processing
The Genetic Code, Mutations, and Translation
Amino Acids, Protiens, and Enzymes

The Citric Acid Cycle and Oxidative Phosphorylation
Glycogen, Gluconeogenesis, and the Hexose Monophosphate Shunt

You have done a lot if not too much. The most frustrating issue with boards is that they ask a select few redundant concepts. I would now concentrate on past exams to identify the pattern of questions that have been previously asked. In my honest opinion genetics questions are limited to undergrad concepts such as transcription, PCR, okazaki, translation, I wouldn't delve any deeper

Thanks mzalendo.....
