Ok so i finished undergrads with a 3.1 gpa and 2.8 science gpa. Took the dat after i graduated and got a 20ts and 25pat. Im now in my second semester of doing an unofficial post-bac and can finish the year off with a 3.35-3.4 gpa. Now im trying to decide whether i should just continue taking grad classes next semester or try and do a masters program. Any help would be appreciated.

Is your final undergrad gpa a 3.35-3.4? (undergrad + informal postbac) If so, continue taking courses and get ready to apply for this cycle.

Is just your postbac GPA a 3.35-3.4? If so, I say do a masters. If your undergrad sgpa is a 2.8, a 3.35-3.4 in an informal postbac may not be enough to convince that you left your sub3.0 days are behind you.

I graduated with a sgpa of 2.75 or so, but 4.0ed my informal postbac. Even with that I had difficulty convincing the schools to look beyond my undergrad gpa.

Good advice 👍
