Hello All!
Okay so i'm a junior in college a bio. major taking the pre-med requirements, i have a 2.23 GPA and after taking the MCATS i scored a 32, so what are my chances of Being accepted or at least wait-listed, i have done an extensive amount of volunteering, shadowing, i've done some research...
I figure by the time i graduate i should have a 2.5-2.7ish GPA
...Any thoughts, Anybody:scared:!?!?!

Sorry, but you have no chance at allopathic med schools with your projected GPA. Your MCAT score is just one point aboe the average for those accepted and thus not enough to compnsate for the low GPA.

There are a few DO med schools that consider applications with a GPA at or above 2.5. I would seek them out. Consider doing another year of GPA repair to get your GPA at least over 2.75, as more schools would then consider you. Take advantage of the grade replacement policy of DO schools by repeating some of the classes you got the worst grades in so your GPA will rise faster.

Unfortunately, your gpa is way too low.

you might consider carribeans. but even then, you have to raise your gpa.
