Hi everyone,
I'm about to submit my application, but I have a grammatical question. If I say that I chose to major in Neuroscience because of XYZ, is Neuroscience capitalized or not? My premed advisor said that it's not, but I think that it is. Thanks!

I think you're right. I believe it should be capitalized.

Capitalize: English, Spanish, etc.

Don't capitalize: sophomore, junior, senior, biochemistry, biology, neuroscience, and other nouns that are not proper.
