I went with the stratgy GOING BACK WORDS for the punching and was doing good in Kaplan, however when I got to the Crack the PAT, i do the worst in this section, Im applying the reverse thing and its just too confusing.

Also same with angles, I get like 5 right, please help is there a good way to look at them better.

Take care!

I do something extraordinarily bizarre, but it works like a charm. I go cross eyed splitting my vision into two images and take any two angles and overlap them. Call me crazy, but i usually get only one or two angle questions wrong in crack PAT.

For hole punching, I draw out a four by four grid and make dots where the holes were punched, erasing the spots that are uncovered etc.

lol, you are a sav Doc! Crossing your eyes and getting 14/15! dude..I'm gonna try it but I'm really skeptical that it will work for me!

I just started using that method as well (started last night) for hole punching. Hit 14/15 on test 5, and I never cleared 10 before in the previous 4 tests.

For clarification look at this example.

First draw out the grid. then look at the the first unfolding, line of symmetry. (dotted green)

Then erase where those dots used to be is that area is uncovered. continue till you're don. just look at my diagram, any more questions, just ask.

Xdent, As per you asked this is how I do it. I did the same question that dr. green posted. I drew many squares to break it down step by step, but when I am taking the test I do it all in 1 square by adding/erasing whatever I need to. This saves time! Hope this helps!
