Hey guys,
I need help figuring out what my chances are and what I need to/should do.
Firstly, Im a canadian so chances as a canadian would be appreciated. I should also mention I have lived in the states for a few years.
I had a terrible first year due to personal reasons, followed by 2 decent years. Im going into 4th year.
Im currently at a 3.0 cgpa and not sure what is included in the sgpa, is it ALL bios, chems, physics etc what else? Im guessing the sgpa would be a lot lower as I took the bulk of science courses in my first (bad) year.
I have not written the OAT yet.
What are my chances as a canadian? What can I do to improve them? Is it worth for me to apply this year? Even if I do another year I suspect it would go up only by 0.1-0.2. What else should I be aware of, example grade replacements, what If I apply early, is there an optometry postbacc, how does this work - is there a guarantee of admission upon completing (we dont have this in canada). Thank you 🙂
