Hey all,

Can someone give me tell me how the July PCAT was formatted? I would like to know the order of the sub tests given and how the gap and transition between each one was like.

The exam begins with an essay. About halfway through you get a break. When you come back from your break, the second half also begins with another essay. Those essays will drain you.

Yep there are two essay questions... By the time I got to the math section my brain was a tad bit fried. It wasn't too bad since I took two of the Pearson practice tests online, and it gave me a good idea of what my brain would feel like at the end of the actual test.

Quick question: It might sound like a dumb question.
Since the whole test is on computer - if I skip a problem is there a way to go back to it by clicking on the problem or something? Does anyone know how does that work? I bough the practice pcat and to go back to the questions that I skipped, I had to go back to each question in decreasing order. Is that the same for the real pcat? If so that will waste a lot of time...

I did horrible in the reading comprehension for the practice one- mainly cuz my brain was dozing off...6 passages were way too much to read

You can flag the questions you wish to skip or want to go back to. I believe You literally click on a red flag on the corner of the monitor somewhere. Once you are done going through the problems the screen will show you the "review page" which shows the list of questions by question numbers along with "flag mark" if you marked any. You should be able to go back to any questions in though you might need to go back and forth the review page.
Hope this helps!
