I have retaken a class in community college that I received a D in and got an A. On my community college transcript it says I earned 0 credit hours and it did not count towards my gpa. i know i am supposed to report this grade on aamc but do i write 0 credit hours? because if i do that i know for sure it doesnt end up in my aamc gpa? help, thanks guys.

Just put it in how it looks on your transcript. Let the AMCAS people fix it if need be. They know what they are doing.
well on my transcript it says units attempted 0 just like it says on classes i withdrew in but under grade point it says (3) just like that in parenthesis where as my other classes have no parenthesis but they also have a value for units attempted.

Pick one. I don't know which is right. But I do know that they will fix it if it's not how they want it.

They need the credit hours to determine how much weight to give the "D" and calculate the GPA. All grades count for AMCAS no matter how your school counted them. I'd say you just put in the 3. However, I'm sure they'll make any changes they need to, though.
