Should I take a risk with something that will reduce my overall GPA to a 3.3? and my science gpa to an even lower score?
First semester my gpa was 3.67 and second semester it was a 3.5...i'm in my third semester now and there is a risk of my gpa dropping to a 3.3.
of course, this may not happen...but is it even worth the risk? Because it's either go with the semester's classes or take a leave of absence.

I can't drop or add any more classes without getting a W and I'm only at 13 credits anyway, so dropping would not make me a full-time student. I haven't gotten a single A so far in any of my sciences, so that is why I am worried about getting a B this time :/A lot goes into these kind of decisions. Can you still drop classes to reduce your workload to catch back up with O Chem? I would not take a leave of absence regardless. If I were you I would be arranging courses to make sure you remain in school and still do well. You might want to think about taking biochem or O chem this summer. If you can rebound, especially since school just started recently, and you have this story it will be a great addition to your app. As mentioned above, there is a lot that goes into this decision and only you can decide. Obtaining a B instead of an A is not the end of the world either especially if a hardship shows up like it has. Best of luck with your decision.
