Help - Should I email UPenn?

OK, so I have learned that UPenn will invite people to interview up until next week. I know that it is a hope and a dream for me, but I want to give it a shot. I recently won some award at my school, got some cash prize and rocked a 3.925 - however, my official grades aren't in because one of my professors is lazy and is currently out of country. If I wait for him to come back, it will be too late to forward my good news via mail to UPenn. I was wondering if I should email the adcom or anyone there?
and if so, what is the email????????

that is where i obtained that info. it was repeated a few times, so i am only assuming it is correct.

When I was at Upenn, they made it sound like interviews are till early early February and then they review all apps again for an acceptance in March.

This is all off memory though and it was a while back... good luck

medappgurl I think I was one of the people who said Penn would stop sending out invites mid Jan. this was info a lady from the penn admissions office told me.

But the website says March. I think you should call them to get a better idea, b/c maybe she will tell you something different (i.e. they extended their interview season etc). Or maybe I got some lady who had no idea what she was talking about! That way you can know for sure and won't have to make a hasty decision regarding the email you want to send.

I e-mailed Gaye Sheffler a while back and she said that they interview until late February so I do not think that the information you found is right. Don't worry but do send in updates as soon as you can. You can send in more updates as you get them. Good luck with everything! UPenn is my #1 choice! Woohoo!

Bro, if they are interviewing until late Feb, that means the others are right. They are prolly sending out the last invites next week.

Yup That does make sense. If people have called and found that out, then I totally agree. The only thing I question is when they would send out invites if the last interviews are in late Feb. They may very well invite until late January which would include last week as well as the beginning of the next week (a bit more time but a few days make a difference). I am sorry if I confused anyone. I should have been more clear. Thanks for the memo Kashue. It may very well be true but good luck everyone! There is still time. I wish you all the best. 🙂

don't be afraid to email gaye or even write a letter. at the very least, it will show your interest in the school. make sure, however, that you send in the pertinent documents as soon as possible.
