Help! Should I update schools w/ my current activities?

Hey guys.

I have started shadowing other dentists, started working in a dental office, etc. I was wondering if I should email them and let them know. And if yes, can you give me some pointers as to how I start start the email? Most schools are about to or are reviewing my app already. I thought that my Ex Curr was a bit weak and thought it might be helpful to let them know.... What do you guys think? Thanks.

I think you should let schools know of any updates to your application. I called Buffalo yesterday because my application has been under review for a few months now and they told me to send anything to them to update them of what I am doing to help my application.

I think it depends on the school. I called ASDOH and they said that my file had already been reviewed for content and they would base their decision for acceptance based on my interview.

Shadowing and working in a dental office are not exactly the sort of updates that are going to keep adcoms on the edge of their seats.
