Can anyone one suggest me a good sleeping pill or method that I can use for couple month ? I have usmle exam in 3 month and I can't sleep at night , please help!

I try 5mg of melatonin an hour before going to sleep. If i am really anxious maybe 100-200mg of L-theanine with the melatonin. Both are OTC wholefoods, CVS, Vitamin shoppe. If those don't work I take Doxylamine Succinate or Diphenhydramine for a day or two.. both make you drowsy when studying but heck its better than wasting a day cause u didnt sleep. Cardio exercise daily helps.

Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) is better than Doxylamine Succinate, from my experience. Ambien works extremely well short term, but it's a prescription. I haven't tried melatonin but have heard good things about it. 25/50 mg of diphenhydramine should do the trick with minimal residual effects the following day.

either change your date to 1pm or set your alarm to 6 hrs earlier than your suppose to get up to make it on time for test date.
