umm...I was a ******* and didn't finish it in time to fedex it out on Friday. So I finished the application and was planning on getting up early to hand-deliver it (I live in NYC) since same-day fedex costs a lot of money. But when I tried to figure out where to go to deliver it, I couldn't find it on the Stony Brook Map. Health Sciences Center seems to be a general area instead of a single building. So I have no idea where to go (the address says L-4 but that doesn't mean much to me.)

Does anyone here know where to go? or will I have to fedex it tomorrow, have it arrive on December 16th and hope that they'll accept my application?

1. call the school Monday morning.
2. ask for directions... then boom.. u will have directions.
3. follow directions.
4. hand in application.
5. reverse directions to go back home.
6. relax.

(in that order).

g'luck! you can do it!

peace,

The admissions office is in the University Hospital. Go through the main entrance of the hospital and then go down the escalator to Level 4. The admissions office will be on your left.

Call them.

I just got a letter from them this week. For the due date for secondary materials, the 15th was crossed out and the 19th was written in. So you might still have time to mail it.

19th? that would be good. But since I got up so early today I have to debate whether to catch the 7:45 shuttle or call them and get a later one. Thanks for the responses, everyone 🙂

Rendar, take the LIRR to the Stony Brook station and then when you get out, there is a University Bus that will take you to the Hospital/Health Sciences Center.

the bus is free
it'll take u to the university hosipital. As soon as you enter, turn left and walk towards a cafeteria. When u get to that, turn right and you'll come across an escalator. Take that down one floor and the admissions office is right there

lol, when i started reading this thread, i thought u were going to ask someone at stony brook to print out ur application after you emailed it to them and turn it in. that would have been funny 🙂

lol, that would've been great🙂. I called them a half hour ago and they said the deadline was extended again. ::wipes sweat from head:: So I'll fedex it overnight to them.
