Hi all,

So technically if I get into osteopathic school for the fall of 2010, what should I do with my spring semester? I am done with my school units for graduation. Here are my current thoughts..

Study abroad (low course load)
Learn a foreign language
Start taking classes that I will encounter with med school (anatomy, physio, bio)
Relax
Find good internships/volunteer positions
Research

Any suggestions? I am not sure what is out there for undergraduates in the internship department. Ideally I would be interested in soemthing that gives me a closer feel to the physician side of things for instance at the Veterans Affairs. If that even exists for undergrads as opportunities. Anything to add?!

how many interviews have you had? I would plan for the opposite...

If everything falls into place and you have to opportunity I would say study abroad. I always wish I was able to and never got the opportunity. It would be a blast I'm sure and keep your mind somewhat active.

It will get you NO where and will most likely be a waste of your money. They will fly through the course content from undergraduate classes in like a week in med school.

If you get in I would recommend doing nothing. You will have more studying and stay busier than you've ever been in the past so enjoy the free time while you can.
