Hi guys,

Ok, so, I am getting my primary application in really LATE. it's done, but i'm wondering if i should even submit it or just wait until next june so i don't waste thousands of dollars. my stats are 37N mcat, 4.0 gpa. 100 plus hours shadowing, bilingual (spanish), 1 year clinical research experience, 100 plus hours of hospital volunteering, 2 years lab research...i think i'd have a really solid application if i was submitting it earlier. now i'm not sure if it's worth it, since money is tight for me. what do you guys think?
I'm looking at:

University of Colorado
Duke
Rush
Rosalind Franklin &
University of Arizona

what do you guys think? i'm an idiot for not getting it in sooner (so you don't have to say that).

Thank you!!

add more schools add more schools add more schools. your stats are great though, but make sur eyou add more schools

October 15 is the deadline for a whole bunch of schools. You're going to be missing out on all of them if you submit now. You seem like a great candidate, so it's a tough call. I think I'd go ahead and submit to the schools you're interested in and see what happens. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Considering your excellent stats, good ECs, and willingness to go to mid-selectivity schools, I'd say go for it. Like Milkman says, watch for the deadlines, and don't waste money applying there. If you submit to AMCAS before the deadline, even if it's not certified for awhile, you'll still be considered on-time by schools whose deadline may pass before AMCAS is ready to send your Primary out.
