Hey guys, I have made a tentative school list with 36 schools on it. I would like to cut this number down by ~10 schools and would really appreciate some help. Here is the relevant info with some questions that I have:

cGPA: 3.90
sGPA: 3.88
MCAT: 514 (129/125/128/132)

State: OH

Race: Asian

Clinical experience:
~300 hrs volunteering at a hospital (ED, patient floors, Surgery Center, ICU/CCU, patient transport, Ortho Center, etc.) where the vast majority of patients/ family were from disadvantaged populations. This was a smaller hospital, so my interactions here were very meaningful. I am also involved in a hospital-wide project regarding patient experience here.
~50 hrs as a volunteer trainer (should I just clump these two together and explain the "volunteer trainer" more in the description?)

Research:
~100 hrs (Will get more here throughout the summer. Should I send an update letter to each of my schools, or will that not be necessary?)

Shadowing: ~40 hrs w/ Orthopedic surgeon, I hope to add some PCP shadowing before sending in my application (how bad would it hurt if I didn't have an PCP shadowing?)

Non-clinical volunteering:

~60 hrs (1 year) as a TA for a few classes (8th grade math, 8th grade science, kindergarten "after-school care") at a school where most (if not all) of the students were from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school itself was underfunded as well.
~40 hrs at a major tennis tournament in the men's locker room.
(Will get more here throughout the summer. Should I send an update letter to each of my schools, or will that not be necessary?)

Other:
Tennis player (1000+ hrs from freshman yr to junior yr of college, many more thousands of hours if you include years before)
Tennis coach
Camp counselor
Tutor/ informal mentor (this is unpaid, but it isn't under a certain organization or anything, which is why I didn't list it under "non-clinical volunteering")

Honors:
Honors College
Deans List (every semester)
NSCS (probably won't even mention this)

Other interesting stuff that I don't know if I should put on my app:
Former swimmer (before college)
Former martial artist (before college)
Basketball (as a hobby, ei. pick-up games)

SCHOOL LIST
State (6):

OSU
CWRU
Cinci
Toledo
Wright State
Northeast Ohio Med

Low/mid-tier (20):
Drexel
Quinnipiac
Larner (Vermont)
Michigan State
NYMC
Iowa
Minnesota
Indiana
Wisconsin
MC Wisconsin
Carle Illinois
Rochester
Einstein
SLU
Rutgers NJMS
Rutgers RWJ
Miami
Tufts
USC - Keck
Hofstra

Upper-mid tier (4):
UVA
UMich
Emory
UPitt

High/ top tier (6):
Northwestern
Mayo
NYU
WashU St. Louis
JHU
Stanford

I'm not entirely sure if I got these classifications right (mid tier, upper-mid tier, etc). All I know for sure is that I was just thinking "why the hell not?" for those "high/ top tier" schools. But looking at it now, I suppose I have too many there?

Remove all the High/top tier schools. You could also remove state public schools that accept few non residents with no connection to the state or region such Rutgers (both), U Wisconsin, Minnesota.

Thank you for the reply! I actually also have residency in NJ, which is why I added Rutgers on to there.
