Help!! Too sick to interview

Help! Today is Sunday and I'm way tooo ill to travel to my interview or to attend the interview tomm. I called and emailed the program telling them i was unable to attend, and I hope this is enough. I just feel horrible because its sunday and I can't talk to anymore directly to reschedule, etc. Has this happened to anyone else and what did you do?!?

I hope you feel better! if you really can't go, i would make sure the call the morning of, and see if they can reschedule (if you want) and apologize (though i'm sure that's obvious).
i think it happens to almost everyone, I woke up tuesday night knowing wednesday would be terrible and really wanted to cancel/reschedule my interview esp. since it was one of my most important, but i just went and tried my best... i think a bunch of pediatricians should understand, even though they may not be able to reschedule.

I'm certain they would prefer you cancel and reschedule than give that RSV you acquired in the ER to the kids in their hospital. Just call FIRST THING tomorrow morning. Try to talk to the PD but if not, at least to their chief assistant and explain again how much you want to visit there, etc. Try to get a rescheduled date ASAP. That will let them know you are interested.
