HELP! Updating major req course grades after applying? waitlist time

So for example let's say I applied last June, and got waitlisted in December. If I am a high prospect (to the school) and they are just waiting for me to finish this last required course, what is the usual protocol? do I get continued waitlisted until the end of the semester until I send in my final transcript? Also, will I fall behind in "wait list rank" as I am in this progress of finishing this course? can I submit a hypothetical grade in advance?

You send in your transcript after you get a grade for that class, and then you wait and see what happens. You can't submit a hypothetical grade because what if you don't get that grade for whatever reason? Good luck explaining that to the school... Plus how would you even tell them? "Hello XYZ School, I plan to get an A for this course BIO 2304. Please let me know if I can get off the waitlist." They're not going to do anything without a final transcript.

If you have a conditional acceptance (accepted but they're waiting on that last class and its C or higher grade), then you still just send in your final transcript and that provisional acceptance should become an actual acceptance.
