Hey DAT-studiers!
A lot of you come here after you take your DAT and ask for advice, comments, suggestions, and whether or not we think you'll get in. I want to help you help us help you! 😉 Myself, I was a re-applicant, and a two-time DAT taker! I also taught the DAT for Kaplan, and know what it takes to get into dental school, and ways to improve your application. My side of the bargain (and other accepted dental students) is to be honest. One thing I don't like is the air people sometimes blow around here, just commenting 'Great Scores!' seemingly regardless! I will try to give advice as best I can - We've ALL been there, we ALL had to take this test, and NONE of us liked it 😛
So - If you're the next to post your scores and ask if you're good to go, please consider including the following:

- GPA (sGPA Optional but helpful)
- State Residency Status
- Schools you're applying to
- Shadowing/EC Stuff
- Have you done research?
