hi everyone, i kind of overlooked the math requirement a bit and am in a kind of weird situation. I would like to apply to the UCs (from CA) but as it stands I haven't fully done the math requirement.

I have one quarter of calc (the second) and one quarter of stats... but they require a year.

I took AP calc in hs and only got a 3... but on top of that it doesn't show up on my transcript so its irrelevant.

Is there any wiggle room in the math requirement or will they throw my app away cause I have two quarters instead of 3?

It's been 3 or 4 years since that last calc class and I'm not really down with starting up multivariable calc to get that last quarter when I haven't done any calculus in a few years!

Any advice?? Thanks!

Are there any alternatives to multivariate calc for a 3rd quarter? Could I do biostatistics or another stat class?

CA schools receive 3000-10000 applications from people that have the math requirements. Who do you think they'll pick? Take a quarter of advanced stats.
