I am in my second semester of junior year and am a ORM nontrad student 24 y/o. I currently have a 3.5GPA I will finish with over 2000 clinical hours (MA, ER tech, EMT,EMT-P) about 500 volunteer hours in both clinical and non clinical mainly clinical though. I will have been a TA for the undergrad anatomy lab for 5 semesters and the PA anatomy lab for 3. 50 hours of shadowing, (OB,ER,IM). I also took class through another institution to get my EMT-Paramedic that wasn't college since it is just a certification technically. I am taking a gap year to mcat study so no score for that yet. My biggest kickers are that I have 3 C's and 5 W's on my transcript. My first semester freshman year I didn't know what it meant to withdraw as neither of my parents went to college so I withdrew from all of them but 1 then Summer between sophomore and junior I took a chem class and withdrew as the teacher was horrid. I am not a crazy good student and have to work full time while in school means I don't have the time that others do. I am debating retaking a few science classes at a Community college since my uni won't let you retake classes that are pre-reqs. I'm currently getting my butt kicked by org chem and just preparing if I need to retake it lol. Am I cooked? Starting to feel kinda hopeless as everyone else does so well in class while I struggle bus along. Will my clinical hours help make up for not so great GPA? Everyone seems to tell me different things.

We need an MCAT, it can show if that was you in the past with the academic struggles or you in the present too.

Nonclinical volunteering?

You’re not cooked if you do it right from here on out.
