First of all, I would like to thank and appreciate all comments from all you guys. Here is my story.

My GPA is bad. English is my second language. From The first instituition I got a 2.3(120 credits) and then I decide to transfer to a second instituition I got a 3.32(70 credits and I got so many Bs) overall, my sccience is around 3.2 at the second college that I just graduate. I got a unique story on why I screwed up while attending my first institution. This fall I plan to finish my degrees at my first college and hopefully get a 4.0. I'm going to take the MCAT soon and hope to do well on that.
A few years back ,I volunteer at the local hospital for about 200 plus hrs which I dont remember how many. Right now I want to get into volunteering again but i;m still waiting for a spot in the the hospital .I'm hoping to have some shadowing hours soon. I will start doing research this July with my Biomed science prof and look like I will have decent LORs from my profs. My question is what can I do to strengthen my application for a MD school?

Before you start volunteering and getting involved in this or that, figure out why you're not performing well academically. Is it your study habits that need work? Do you just need additional help from a tutor? Because it's nice that you plan on finishing your degree with a 4.0, but given the fact that your past academic performance has been less than ideal, I don't think it's a realistic goal at this point. Figure out how to get A's (not just B's) before you work on other aspects of your application. GPA is absolutely crucial to gaining entrance into med school and, unfortunately, it's also the most difficult thing to fix once it's trashed.

Also realize that all your undergraduate coursework is going to be counted together. Average GPA of accepted students to allopathic schools is ~3.6 while the average for DO is ~3.4. So that gives you an idea of what you need to strive for.

thanks. i got it figure out about the studying habits , but a bit late. last year I got 3.7 avg but I know that I need to retake a few classes where I got Bs( I learn not to study the night before the test ). I know I am way below average so I was thinking about 2 more semesters of school and hope to avg 4.0 . what do you guys think? So if my GPA last 4 semesters in undergrad avg about 3.85? Do you think I still have a shot at a MD school? thank guys

So with everything added together, what is your cGPA and BCPM at this point?
