I'm a Bio premed major at Alabama A&M. I'm in my second semester of my freshman year, and I'm taking a course titled, "Intro to Healthcare". I'm required to have a resume typed for class tomorrow. Unfortunately for myself, I've never had to formulate one. I'm interested in knowing what I should include in my resume. Apparently the resume is going to be used for summer internship opportunties. Any and all help by anyone whom has been through this process is welcomed and appreciated.

Later in the course we will study interviews, reccomendations, and autobiographical statements.

it should be detailed in your class book! there's PLENTY of resources online for it. yours will be short, but if you don't have a lot of healthcare experiences, include stuff where you interacted with people. i.e. walmart, taco bell stuff is ok to list!

Just so formatting doesn't throw you for a loop, most word processor applications (word, microsoft works, etc, I mean) have a resume template. As far as content, of course include your address, how to reach you, etc. but also Work Experiences, Volunteer/Community Service, Honors and Awards, Education, and, if you're proficient with a computer, the applications you're familiar with....just some ideas...

Create a skills section and list out all your lab techniques that you've covered in gen chem or whatever labs you've taken.
