Hi,
I guess you still have a good chance of getting accepted to an ASP since you are from Poland!
If you are an Indian then I would say you should improve your part 1 scores before applying since there are lot of us competeting for it +pity+ 😀

Thanks, but what the diffrence does it make that I am from Poland?I would think that if someone from India has better scoreshe should get in. 😕

since many CA schools have their own dexterity tests, they usually value your performance on that too. there are people who have got into their schools with scores in the 80s. but if you have the time, why not try and improve on your scores?

If they too think like you then all the spots will be filled with indians first!..Pls don't feel that I am bragging..it's becos SO MANY of us(indians)competeting to get in to ASP!
It's normal for the schools to think they want their students pool which is diverse!

But still I would agree with toothmail & would suggest you to improve your part 1 scores if you have a chance... :luck:

Go ahead and apply whether you're Polish or not, there are plenty of people with your scores in schools. You don't have to show your part 2 score if you don't want to, unless the school requires it of course.

Your chances at UCLA are not that high, you'll have better chances at USC, but they do make you go trough a bench test, so be ready for it.....

About what's the relevance of beign Polish or not, wait until you go to your first interview, you'll find out then.......

Go ahead an apply, the worst that can happen is that they don't accept you. Also, apply to more schools if you can, specially private schools, don't waste your money on UCLA or UCSF applications.

Hope this helps.

ucla is a very ignorant school i guess..only peope over 95 can get a chance!

Thanks everyone.I will apply this year if I don't get in, I will take part one again to improve my score. One more time thank you.

Scores aren't the only factors in admission. The sole fact that you're Polish makes you an interesting applicant for schools. So "polish" 😛 your application real well, by adding strong good reco letters from bosses and volunteer letters. Add to that the right personality or they right mood at the the interview moment. All these helps, beleive me.

If you already leave the LA area (sounds like you do), try to meet someone from the IDP at the schools you're interested in and ask them how they feel in it, and why they think they got accepted and picked over other applicants. Chances are some will tell you they feel their scores only, wasn't what got them in. Good luck. :luck:

hi everyone,

I know few students who got into ucla this yr and last yr with scores above 85 and below 88.................iam just letting u guys know that .......... so that everyone with these scores also can apply..........

ALL THE BEST FOR EVERYONE...............
